Natural earth colours
The pure pigments of iron oxide are resistant to the light, weathering, acids, lime and cement. They have great productiveness and good stability. Some resist up to temperatures of 1000°C. Used as a mordant for wood or colourant of cement and concrete, for the preparation of paints for cement and lime, plaster for facades, asphalt bitumen and for the preparation of colours for artists.
Mix the mixture before and after adding water. Disperse the pigment in the mixture to be coloured until the desired shade is obtained.
Keep the product stored and sealed in the original packages in a dry and ventilated place.
Use at ambient temperatures between 10°C and 30°C.
CYCLE: In the case of mortars, plasters, spatulated, etc.., the pigment must be added gradually and evenly in the mixer, drawing out the mixing until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
In the case of paints, it is advisable to pre-disperse the pigment n water and then add the solution to the paint.
The indicative amount in the case of plasters, mortars, spatulated, etc., is around 3÷7 % in weight, compared to the weight of the anhydrous material to be pigmented and 5÷10% in weight in the case of paints.
WARNINGS: It is always necessary to carry out preliminary tests of adaptation, based on the required pigmentation and the base to be pigmented.
