Polyvinyl acetate adhesive is used mainly in the carpentry sector, as it is especially suitable to assembling wood, laminated plastics on wood, paper, cork, canvas or other porous materials.
It can be used naturally or dissolved in water. It is in fact, a rather dense and white liquid that once coated is completely absorbed by the material and assumes a transparent colour, taking the appearance or a sort of film, which allows good joining.
The adhesive can be diluted to the desired viscosity if the bonding requirements of the substrates to work on or use as such, are known.
Store the product at temperatures no lower than 5°C, out of direct sunlight. The product, stored and sealed in the original packages, keeps for a period of 1 year.
Consumption is around 100÷150 g/m².
The empty jar and washing residue of the used equipment must be disposed of, according to local regulations in force.
Brush or fine serrated spatula.
In normal temperature conditions (22°C) and relative humidity (60%), it has a setting time of around 15÷30 minutes. Adhesive action is complete after at least 24 hours.
Use at ambient temperatures between 10°C and 30°C.
CYCLE: Clean the surface to be glued from dust and grease, coat a layer of adhesive or about 0.5 mm on the parts to be glued (for difficult bonding, put on both parts). It can be applied with a brush or with a fine-serrated spatula.
For better hold, the bonding should undergo a pressure of 2.5÷5 kg/cm².
Joins covered with adhesive, temper and heat seal at temperatures over 70÷80°C.
WARNINGS: It does not stain wood with high tannin content.
