VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS EU limit value VOC (Directive 2004/42 EC) Pitture per pareti esterne di supporto minerale (Cat A/c) BA 40 gr/lt (2013) VeloGum max contains 40 gr/lt di VOC
Can be diluted with water. Can be mixed with CIPIR colourants or with the "ChròmaSystem" colouring system.
Store the product at a temperature, no lower than 5°C out of direct sunlight. The product, stored and sealed in the original packages, keeps for a period of 2 (two) years.
On surfaces treated with sealers and/or suitable bases, the product covers 4.5÷5.5m²/lt for two coats.
The empty jar and washing residue of the used equipment must be disposed of, according to local regulations in force.
To apply with a brush, dilute at 15÷20% for the first coat and 10÷15% for the second. To apply with a wool roller, dilute at 15÷20% for the first coat and 10÷15% for the second.
In normal temperature conditions (22°C) and relative humidity (60%), the surface is dry to the touch in 3÷5 hours, can be painted over after 24 hours and is dry in depth after at least 48 hours.
Use at ambient temperatures between 10°C and 30°C. Avoid application in case of strong rain, wind and high sunlight.
CYCLE: On new substrates: make sure the plaster has reached a curing of at least 28 days, check that the surface is dry, clean and free of dust or inconsistent parts and apply a coat of "FIXCIPIR" acrylic fixative or "LACCA 140W" fixative with high penetration micro particles. After at least 18 hours, proceed with the two coats of VeloGum at a distance of at least 24 hours between each coat.
On already painted substrates: proceed with accurately removing old paint that does not adhere to the substrate and any other non-adherent parts. In the case of mould, it is recommended to previously treat the walls with "RISANMUR". Check that the wall is perfectly dry and dusted and apply the water-based fixative with high penetration micro particles, or the coloured base "CIPIRFOND" fixative. After at least 18 hours proceed with the two coats of VeloGum.
WARNINGS: Mix the product well before use. Applying the product in unsuitable environmental conditions, negatively affects the drying time, compromising the optimal result of both the aesthetic characteristics and its performance. The drying process and polymerization for the application of VeloGum in ideal environmental conditions, is complete within 8÷10 days. If the product should be subject to run-off rainwater in this period, stains and/or semi-transparent drops (streaking), this phenomenon is temporary, it does not affect the quality of the product and can be removed by pressure washing, or it will self-remove in subsequent rainfalls. It is recommended to protect the surface from rain and humidity for at least 48 hours after applying the product.
NOTE: Ideal ambient conditions: temperature: min. +8°C max. +30°C relative humidity <70%. Ideal substrate conditions: temperature: min. +5°C max. +30°C - humidity <10%. It is recommended to apply the product in favourable climatic conditions as indicated. Applying the product in unsuitable environmental conditions, negatively affects the drying time, compromising the optimal result of both the aesthetic characteristics and its performance.
Do not apply on fresh and alkaline substrates; wait for it to cure (generally four weeks).
Use in a well-ventilated area.
