• Relative humidity <75%
CYCLE: Surface preparation
• Not heavy service: dry abrasive blast to Sa 2 – Sa 2.5 (SSPC-SP6; SSPC-SP10) with an anchor profile of 25-75 micron; in alternative, mechanical abrasion to remove rust and calamine.
• Galvanized steel: remove white salts by mechanical means ad thoroughly degrease with thinner F2. If steel has not been exposed to weather for at least 6 months, lightly blast with fine abrasive to ensure good adhesion.
• Cement: clean and primer coat of sealant EPOPRIM.
WARNINGS: Do not use during rain, fog and wind.
Do not add water for dilution before having stirred thoroughly the two components, better by mechanical mean.
When air bubbles are forming during application, increase dilution.
If a anti-slip finish is desired, scatter sand on the surface after the first coat; then, before applying the second coat, sweep off the exceeding.
NOTE: Ideal environmental conditions: temperature: min. +8°C - max +35°C relative humidity<75%.
